On the occasion of The Venice Glass Week 2025 (13-21 September),
Wave Murano Glass proudly unveils its brand-new showroom in Murano, introducing the Wave Collection, born from an extraordinary collaboration between Roberto Beltrami, founder of Wave Murano Glass, and Armand Louis, co-founder of the renowned Swiss-based design studio Atelier Oï.
This collaboration marks a new milestone for the Murano glass industry: a bridge between centuries-old artisanal mastery and bold contemporary design.
The Wave Collection is more than a series of works – it is a statement of how tradition can evolve into a language of innovation, ensuring Murano’s cultural and artistic legacy will thrive in the years to come.
The inauguration will take place on September 13 at 6pm at Wave Murano Glass, Murano (Ramo da Mula 5/1), featuring the Opening Talk: “Crafting the Future”, Moderated by journalist Giorgio Tartaro, the talk will be led by Armand Louis (“Thinking with our hands”) and Roberto Beltrami (“The future of handmade”), offering a profound exchange on how design thinking and artisanal mastery can together define and innovate the future of creativity.
The brand-new showroom will remain open to the public throughout The Venice Glass Week, September 13–21, 2025, with daily visiting hours open to the public from 8:00–13:00 and 14:00–17:00 (and by appointment only after 17:00).
This initiative, organized under the patronage of the Consulate of Switzerland in Venice, marks an important step for the entire Murano glass community, reaffirming its central role in the global landscape of design and artistic innovation.
