Wave Murano Glass is pleased to announce its participation in Maison & Objet Paris 2026, one of the leading international events dedicated to design and lifestyle.

On this occasion, we will unveil DAKTYL, our new collection, representing a significant step in the evolution of the brand’s artistic language.

DAKTYL introduces a glassblowing technique as innovative as it is counterintuitive: instead of shaping the glass through rotation, the material is constructed using transverse lines, inspired by the grain of solid wood. This approach creates a new material—structured, oriented, and legible—capable of becoming the basis for a variety of product forms and typologies. Like a single block of wood, the collection reveals its identity through its fibers, direction, and continuity, leaving within the material a trace, a mark of passage and memory.

More than a simple product collection, DAKTYL is conceived as a true signature: a single guiding thread that allows Wave to explore different expressions of tableware while maintaining a coherent and unmistakable identity. DAKTYL opens a new chapter for our brand, built on continuity, a stronger character, and the development of a family of objects capable of expressing clarity, sensitivity, and depth.
